Why Boudoir Photography?

Have you ever thought to yourself, maybe on a day off of work or during a lazy Sunday afternoon, "I really want some girly dress-up pampering time?" I know I have. As much as I live for yoga pants and messy buns, there are days where I want a random makeover if only to feel like I can walk outside and take on the world. Boudoir photography is the perfect way to not only give yourself an impromptu makeover day but also step out of your comfort zone and feel confident and beautiful!

How I Started Shooting Boudoir Photography

As a professional wedding photographer in Baltimore, I always think about how to make more unique and exciting experiences for my clients, whether it's during an engagement session, lifestyle session, or their wedding day. I thought about this random feeling of just wanting that extra confidence boost, a "treat yourself" moment of self-indulgence where you're only thinking about you and what makes you feel great. I started BMore Boudoir after experiencing the confidence-boosting power of boudoir photography, and have loved helping other women step out of their comfort zone to find that confidence and self-love that follows.

Why I Love Boudoir Photography

I'm a firm believer in feeling amazing about yourself, no matter what. And I love making other people feel confident and happy in their own skin. After each boudoir session with a client, I notice the confidence-boosting power of taking that risk and getting out of your comfort zone to do something that's all about you. Plus, you'll have a gallery of images that you can share with your significant other.

A Little About Me, Your Friendly Neighborhood Boudoir Photographer

I've been a full-time business owner in Maryland for over five years, and have loved every minute of it! When I’m not shooting weddings you can find me mentoring other photographers or whipping up something delicious in the kitchen. Most days you can find me at home hanging out with my dog and my family and watching Gilmore Girls (Team Jess!) or Fixer Upper. There’s almost always a caffeinated beverage within arms reach and a secret chocolate stash somewhere. I’m probably burning a really delightful candle and my dog is probably snoring in the background.

If you're thinking about taking the leap and doing a boudoir session, send me a message! I'd love to chat about some of your ideas!
